What is the difference between the video packages “Säravad Hetked” and “Ajatu Lugu”?
At first glance, they may seem quite similar, but the biggest difference is that the “Ajatu Lugu” package, in addition to the teaser, wedding film and ceremony, also includes all the remaining footage. I organize this material by themes (for example: getting ready, first dance, speeches, party scenes, games separately), giving the couple a 360-degree view of their wedding day.
Since this material is delivered as already edited standalone videos, it is easy and enjoyable to watch and also share separately with guests. The thematic videos retain the original audio and feel somewhat like home videos, making them a true time travel experience back to the wedding day.
This package is especially suitable for couples who want a longer wedding film. Since I currently focus more on shorter wedding films, this is a great way to receive more video material from the wedding day. The thematic videos are not raw footage, but fully edited finished videos.
How do we receive our files?
For wedding video packages, the teaser video will be delivered within the first two weeks via a link. The remaining videos will be sent on a USB drive to a parcel locker of your choice. The wedding film itself will additionally be delivered via a private or public YouTube link so you can easily share it with guests.
For wedding photography, the delivery process is similar. The first teaser images will be sent via a gallery link. Once the photos are ready, I will add them to the same online gallery. The full gallery will also be delivered on a USB drive sent to your chosen parcel locker.
What is the waiting time for wedding videos or photos?
Säravad Hetked: 2 months
Ajatu Lugu: 4 months
Photo package: 2 months
Since photo editing and video post-production are creative processes, and unexpected creative situations can sometimes occur, in all cases the delivery may exceed the estimated time by up to 1 week.
Can we keep our wedding photos and videos private?
Each wedding video and gallery is an opportunity for me to showcase my work and give future couples a chance to get familiar with my style. At the same time, I fully respect each couple’s wish to keep their personal event private.
Before every wedding and upon completion of the video/gallery, I always ask for permission to share the material. If you already know in advance that you do not want your wedding video or photos to be shared publicly, please let me know during our first meeting or by email.
How is the material stored and preserved?
On the wedding day, I use a camera with dual memory card slots. I also bring a second camera in case anything happens to the main one. After the wedding day and until editing begins, I store the raw footage on an external hard drive and online backup.
Once the wedding video and photos are completed, I keep them stored for 1 year.
I recommend that after receiving the USB drive, you copy all files to the cloud and also to another storage device, as the lifespan of a USB drive can eventually come to an end.
How does payment work?
Payment is made in two parts: the first payment is on the wedding day, and the second payment is upon delivery of the photos/videos.
How many revisions can we make to the videos?
You can make up to three rounds of revisions to the wedding videos free of charge.
How is music selected for the wedding video?
In wedding videos, I have used:
the couple’s favorite songs
cover versions
music performed during the wedding day
musical recordings from friends
songs used for the first dance
I am always open to ideas regarding which music to use in the wedding video. Usually, I use several different tracks within one wedding film, and the final selection often develops during the editing process (sometimes also earlier).
How is the pricing for wedding video packages determined?
Creating a wedding video is a complex and time-consuming process. When people watch a finished wedding film, it may seem like the videographer had a clear vision from the beginning. In reality, there is often a lot of experimentation and searching behind it, sometimes even restarting from scratch if the video does not come together.
With experience, speed improves, but creative challenges never disappear.
Editing is one of the main factors shaping the price. In addition, there is the wedding day itself, which often lasts 12+ hours, equipment costs, and possible transportation expenses.
Pricing can also be influenced by demand. The most up-to-date pricing information is always available on the website.
The final price is always determined through a quotation. Once I have sent a price offer by email, that price will not change.
